I am SO looking forward to this weekend. It's a chance for me to catch up on a huge list of to-do's that have been put on the back burner since the school year started. I've been living in chaos, and I can't wait to finally get some stuff done!! I'm going to celebrate Labor Day with labor! :) One of my priorities is to organize the spare room upstairs. Since we've moved in, it's been a giant storage space with absolutely no functionality. My goal is to change it into a work space where I can put all my crafty things, rather than leaving them scattered on the living room coffee table or the dining table. My poor husband has been finding beads all over the house. Oops.
After looking up craft storage ideas, I kept coming back to the versatility (and cost-effectiveness) of a pegboard. Here are some of the best ideas I've seen so far!
1. Large Framed Pegboard by honeybearlane (for the serious crafter!)
2. Modern Pegboard from Fabric Paper Glue (No drilling needed!)
3. Bright and Cheery Pegboard by Bondville
I love the idea of using IKEA BEKVÄM spice racks to hold tubes of paint or jars of glitter. I'll also probably be using a dowel system for my washi tape, baker's twine, hemp cord, and thread. Ahh, it will be SO much better once I get everything organized! Here's hoping!
